Our Love for Guanacaste

After more than 50 visits to hotels and vacation rentals all over Costa Rica, we decided that Playas del Coco was the place to be.  For Costa Rican's , this beach is one of the most traditional places we used to visit as kids, and when we saw how it has developed now, the community of expats, the great restaurant options and the beauty of the nearby beaches, we decided this was the perfect place. Its less than 45 minutes from the LIR airport, and a great hub to explore all of the attractions that surround it.

Playas del Coco is a popular tourist destination located in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. Ocotal is very close, and one of our favorites, but from here over 30 other beach locations are less than 1 hour drive.
